Workshop

The workshop is divided into sections, where different tasks are done in order to maximise resources.

Repairs section

Every forklift in need of repair goes through this area. Here our technicians have at their disposal all the necessary equipment to perform their work in a safe and efficient way.

Machining section

Most of the technical office's required modifications can be done using internal resources thanks to the machining section, which has a lathe, a press and a boring machine, as well as automatic drills, plasma cutters, and several tools needed to produce parts.

This section also has oxyacetylene, TIG (with argon) and electric's welding equipment. To weld the wheel rims an automatic rotating table is used, reaching a better finish and improving the efficiency.

Battery check

Knowing batteries' state is determining to define shifts depending on customer's needs in material handling industry. Carretillas Barcelona has the equipment needed to check battery's capacity and the charging percentage it can reach, so that we can adapt to different customer's needs as much in price as operational demand.

Refurbishing section

All vehicles entering our facilities are inspected and, if necessary, repaired by our refurbishing team to ensure the proper operation of all the fleet we put at your disposal.

Painting section

Once prepared or refurbished, forklifts usually need a new coat of paint so they can look brand new. Our painting team is able to leave every forklifts with a perfect finish, as can be seen in the following example showing the vehicle's refurbishing process.
